Oline's Edgy Deconstructive



Caroline Siahaan who called Oline is a fashion designer who has a background of education in civil engineering and advanced diploma in fashion design, Raffles Design Institute Singapore. She’d come up with a thought, “Why not combine them together; a clothing line with a touch of deconstructed detail”. Furthermore, she used to find problem in finding an appropriate apparel to work. Finally, She created ‘Oline Workrobe’ clothing line.

The characters of Oline’s collections are fun, playful, modern, edgy and comfortable. Her collections are specials for students, workers, business women, and active housewives over 20 years.

Oline’s collections picked fabrics that consist mainly of basic prints (checked and stripes) which made from cotton with neutral hues. Then, she reconstructs them into better apparel via playful shape and an upbeat silhouette, but still not forgetting the basic function of the apparel itself. You can find a high-end construction in every apparel of this brand. Everyone who wears it will look chic, smart, modern, upbeat, dynamic, and unique.

So, what are the clues for Oline’s collection for IFW 2012? “Work hard play hard”, Oline wants highlight the busy women who are love their activities for the theme of her collections. She wants to show something fun in her collections with mix the natural colors with playful colors. Unique details, tie-dye, and polkadots which describe fresh looks will appear in Oline’s collections for IFW 2012.
