Oka Diputra is a talented fasion designer from Bali who has tons of achievements and creativities. His existence in fashion world is not only national, but also international. It marked by numerous of his fashion shows in Asian and European countries. He also participated in some fashion week (Dubai, Hongkong, Malaysia and Tokyo).
His interest in the fashion industry came from the desire to create clothes which are unique for himself, but many people were interested in purchased his clothes. Because of that, he started to make his own boutique. His products are quirky dresses with many alternative ways to wear them. His signature is sleek, clean and avoids complicated frills. All dresses features knots instead of zippers and use fewer buttons. He uses modification textiles to make it looks unique.

“Less is more” is his philosophy in fashion. we guess he got inspired by Mies Van De Rohe, the famous modern Architect.
For Indonesia Fashion Week, He chooses “The Fifth Element” as the theme of collections. Water, Air, Earth, and Fire are the inspirations of his collections. But, what is the fifth element? You’ll find it in Oka Diputra’s collections for IFW 2012. It will be a surprise for you!. Oka Diputra always give surprise in his fashion show and his collections is just for everyone who dare to be different.
