A Rachel Bilson dedicated post

I decided randomly to trawl through Rachel Bilson posts on Celebrity-Gossip.net for some style inspiration, and gathered a ton of images. Then I thought 'I'll go onto ASOS and see if they have anything "in the style of Rachel Bilson"'. Greeted by the homepage with a large image of Rachel, I thought 'oh how funny this model looks SO much like her', then realised it was her... Ooops!
She's featured in the new ASOS magazine which you can view and read online here.
I'm glad she's coming back onto the radar again - I've missed her cute little face! And I've been dying to see New York, I Love You since I first heard about it a couple of years ago, but there's still no UK release date. So upsetting.
Enjoy my mini shrine anyway...

Rainy Sunday

I've been looking forward to this weekend for a while. With being in a long-distance relationship and miles from my family I tend to spend a lot of weekends away or have people visiting me, and this is the first weekend in a long while I've had free, which I was looking forward to embracing.

Typically, I got an infection on wednesday after coming home from Leeds and the antibiotics haven't worked, which means I've spent all weekend feeling sorry for myself in bed clutching at my dear water bottle and feeling completely unmotivated to get into doing any work. Therefore the blog has also suffered any exciting posts.

Hopefully this beautiful bunch of images will perk up everyones Sunday though. It's very cold, dark and super rainy here in London so these pictures definitely helped lift my spirits and think of prettier times, as weird as that sounds...

Goodies on Black Friday

I've been home in my town of Brunswick, GA (Its a small town on the coast - we just got a Target here like 3 years ago) since Thanksgiving, but to say the least there isn't much fashion going on here...LOL...or on me for that matter. I have been on Auntie duty in literally jeans and a t-shirt (gasp)....lol. Brunswick is small, so the fashion shopping I wanted to do I had to do online. Shopping for myself took place at Saks and Jibri. Here are the great deals I got!

Needing a dress to wear to the company Christmas party I picked up the Jibri Lucy Cocktail sample originally $120, on sale for $60!

I wanted a chic staple conversation piece so I bought the sample Jibri leopard pencil skirt. The original price was $75, but on sale for $37.

Finally, I wanted to catch the sale at Saks and since there is no Saks in Brunswick, I shopped online and found this cute casual dress by Amanda Uprichard (I'm always in need of cute casual wear) in the Salon Z dept. of Saks. The original price was $255, I bought it on sale for $61.00 and I got free shipping.
Since Ive been home, I haven't gotten much time to blog, so here is a little something to hold us over till I can get back to Atlanta.
I'm interested in knowing what sales everyone else participated in. I am so siked about the deals that I got...no really I am!!! I can wait till these are these come in the mail! Pictures and reviews will be in order Comment and let me know what you got!!!

Street Style

Here are a couple of images I accumulated from September mostly. I found the straight-up project that we were given at uni really difficult.
We had to look for people who weren't just trendy or nicely put together, but 'fashion forward', and also had to be able to get a decently composed snap of them if we happened to find anyone.
The McQueen dress is a sneaky one, we saw her in the most unexpected place you could even imagine debuting such a dress, a tiny not-very-cool-at-all bar in Epsom. We were in such shock and debate over whether it was real, and if not where did she get such a good copy?
I love Louise Gray's outfit - I really like the colours and prints that she's thrown together, very creative.
Oh yeah and one of the categories was menswear. Not so fashion forward but a nice change to all the chequered-shirt clad males that kept on passing by...

All images my own, if used please credit FantasticalFashion :)

Call me psychic...

I think being a trend forecaster could be my calling after all. After all the posts I've done banging on about maxi dresses and looking for the perfect one, I recieve a Topshop newsletter telling all that the maxi's are the new hemline to embrace.

I'm waiting for them to now bring out a million styles over the next couple of months, seeming as noone else seems to have caught onto this quite yet and I like some variety of choice.

In Love

I fell in love with these beautiful floppy hair bows a few years back when they first hit the runway for Sportmax, and my memory was triggered today which made me go on a bit of a mission to find the images again - I did have tons saved on my old laptop before the hard drive died and wiped everything.

After googling all sorts of mad combos and sifting through possible designers on Style.com coming to nothing, I messaged the wonderful Coco Rocha via Facebook, remembering having an image of her wearing one and asking if she remembered which show it was. Thank god she replied (I have work to do and I would not have slept without finding any of these pictures) life saver!

Still, I don't understand why there isn't any images at all on Style or Vogue of any Sportmax shows... hmm.

Enjoy sweeties x
