This post is about music and fashion. Today Renato Zero a big italian music star turns 60! He spent 40 years of his life on stage and celebrates his birthday with 8 concerts in Rome in the next days.
He shocked and entertained his fans with outrageous outfits since 1970 and his audience continue to grow. He's an example of how much music and fashion are deeply related and how an histrionic personality express himself even with his look.

River Island VS Zanotti

I really admire Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and i'm always searching for shoes that remaind his work. Here's the really good River Island version for the cut out design of this summer.
This is the colour currently available, they were also made in black.

Jeremy Scott prosciutto dress

If you were wondering why models are so thin i might have the answer:because in the last days they have been wearing food instead of eating it.

After the Lady Gaga meat dress by Franc Fernandez at the VMAs here's the prosciutto dress from Jeremy Scott.
Gaga has justified her outfit choice saying that she doesn't want to be considered a piece of meat.
Her goal was to shock people and she did it. For me it was just a waste of food. Wear cold raw meat? What was she thinking? And this prosciutto dress? These models look like grissini al prosciutto a tasteful antipasto.
Next time we're buying prosciutto:please give me 1 meter i have to make a skirt with it.
Can you please cut another slice, i would like to put a ruffle on the back!
A prosciutto skirt would be a guilt free excuse to wear the skirt only once!

I saw this dress by Motel, i like the colour choice and the cut out detail on the back. I like when images are used in fabric prints to create geometrical and colour effects.

Tokio Hotel rocks Audi Fashion Festival

Apparently, Tokio Hotel will be performing twice. They performed already to the people who already had tickets to the event. Security asked fans not to take pictures and the fans in Singapore were awesome and followed the rules! No pics for us, but fans behaving well is a GOOD thing for the band, eh?

German Pop band Tokio Hotel is set to rock Singapore as part of the Audi Fashion Festival Singapore 2010.

The band consists of twin brothers Bill (vocals) and Tom (guitar) Kaulitz, Georg Listing (bass) and Gustav Schafer (drums).

The German quartet is scheduled to perform at the Tent@Orchard tonight and tomorrow night (April 27-28).

In addition to the two live performances, iconic lead singer Bill will take to the catwalk for DSquared2 in the Festival’s opening show.

In January this year, Bill stole the show when he walked in the DSquared2 Menswear Autumn/Winter 2010 show in Milan, Italy.

Tokio Hotel has gone 10 times platinum with their albums sales, scored four No. 1 singles and sold out arenas and stadiums across Europe.

They also scored a Best New Artist VMA from MTV in 2008.

The band’s latest album, Humanoid was released on October 2009 in Singapore.

The singles taken from the Humanoid album, “Automatic” and “World Behind My Wall”, have received excellent airplay across various radio stations.

“World Behind My Wall” also peaked at No. 1 position on the radio.

The Audi Fashion Festival’s Official Charity Partner, The Celton Group, is co-sponsoring the cost of Tokio Hotel’s visit and also spearheading fundraising efforts around the public show on April 28.

TAG Heuer is also sponsoring a $25,000 watch for a silent auction from April 27 to May 2 to raise funds to benefit The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund.

“This is great news for Singapore and the Audi Fashion Festival,” says Head of Global Philanthropy at Celton and Chairman of the Audi Fashion Festival, Dr Frank Cintamani.

“To have one of Europe’s hottest bands come to Singapore before anywhere else in the region is a great privilege…I look forward to working with all the Audi Fashion Festival partners on leveraging their appearance at the Festival to raise as much money as possible for the Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund.”

The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund aims to alleviate the financial burden faced by parents in providing for their children’s education.

The funds also help children who are already facing difficulties in remaining in school to stay on.

2010 is a special year for pioneering Swiss-based watchmaker TAG Heuer.

“Tokio Hotel at the Audi Fashion Festival 2010 will kick off our 150 year anniversary celebrations in Singapore,” says TAG Heuer Brand Director, Alvin Soon.

“This year’s Festival theme, “Designing the Future”, fits well with our 150 years of pursuing technical innovation and precision, and bringing in Tokio Hotel provides an exciting and fitting start to our local celebrations.”

Tokio Hotel’s first performance will be an exclusive acoustic set at Audi’s Gala night tonight.

Tomorrow, a two acoustic performance will be staged after the DSquared2 opening show to an audience of 400 invited guests

Attention on cuffs:Armor cuffs by topshop. They give a multiple bangle effect with a nice dress and can look more aggressive and armor like with a punkish look. They're available in black too and they're new from topshop. This color is interesting, it's carta da zucchero, a light blue. Instead of buying this we can make on our own with elastic bands.

Time for some high street fashion. Here's new fresh pieces from Rare, my favorite piece is the first dress with the detailed bra, nice pale colour with quilted neckline. The 4° piece with military/space arms in gold color is nice too.

Well kiddies, we are less than a week away from debuting our Tenth Anniversary NIKOLAKI Spring 2011 Collection at Style Week Orange County! We finished our Model fittings today (they went well!), went accessory shopping, got a FABULOUS Shoe Sponsor--Michael Antonio--and now, we just have LOTS of alterations, minor fixings, and still some looks our "Petite Mains" seamstresses are busy working on--- But trust me--David and I will be ready! Our show--in case you have been living under a (fashion) rock, is this Friday, October 1st, at 7PM. Style Week OC is Open To The Public (which is just FAB!!!) so if you can make it to the OC on Friday night and want to see some fashion--head to the Irvine Spectrum darlings--No RSVP necessary!

I hosted--and judged-- last year's Needle & Thread Competition at the 2nd Annual Style Week Orange County and I am back at it again! Last year, the Winner was FIDM Debut Graduate Adrian Manuel and since I was one of his Instructor's and Mentor in the Advanced Fashion Design Program, I was so proud of him!

Han Chae-young (born Kim Ji-young, 13 September 1980) is a South Korean actress. She majored performing arts in Dongguk University.

Critics have praised her work in the television drama, Delightful Girl Choon-Hyang, which is a present-day version of the historical story, Chunhyang.

Critics doubted the series would succeed, but it has proved a favourite among young adults. There, Han plays a fun-loving, free-spirited young woman. Han Chae-young married Choi Dong-joon.
